This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. School is coming up and it also is usually a time where cost saving options spring into visibility. Dollar General sure is one of my favorite hotspots for school materials because I can save more […]
Most people know Florida is the top tourist destination in the nation. But it can be pretty expensive too. That is not to say other cities are tourist attractive. In fact, there are many of them as well, like San Antonio.
The thing that attracts tourists to San Antonio is because of its affordability whether they be on food, accommodations or a tourist hotspot. The SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience makes it even better.
With more than $600 in savings to theme parks, animal adventures, top shops, historic tours, great deals on hotels, I would say this is the right time to go to San Antonio! For starters, check out my itinerary.
Sea World is debuting Aquatica this season so it comes at just the right time for me to go and experience all the high speed thrills, up-close animal experiences and sandy beaches that this 18 acre aquatic park has to offer. The SAVE discounts include deals on family-four packs, $10 off admission and a second day free option.
I have to admit, San Antonio’s Splashtown makes me curious to want to go check it out. Considering the SAVE discount up to $42, this is a good spot for families to go around and enjoy the 50 rides and attractions, concerts and dive in movie nights.
Animals. Animals. Animals. I prefer taking photos of animals than women in lingeries or bikinis ha ha! So it comes as no surprise that I opted to choose San Antonio’s Zoo for a good outdoor adventure. SAVE discount is $2 off admission.
And if this is not enough, I can always switch to another venue like the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch which has animals from all over the world. SAVE discount is $2 off admission as well.
I am also a sucker for anything that relates to record holders. The Falls intrigues me considering that it is the world’s longest waterpark ride at 3,600 feet fo continuous rapids. Now that should be a great experience! SAVE discount is up to $42.
The other place I want to go to is the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. After so many movements from those other tourist hotspots, I always make it a point that I spend a relaxing day in a serene place. And a vast collection of different plants is the perfect place for me to do that.
What about you? What would you try to SAVE on? Check out theses Limited Time Offers or you can follow @SAVEinSA on Twitter for all the updates on deals, limited time offers and ideas to help plan your next trip to San Antonio.
Summer is around the corner, don’t waste your time ;). Visit San Antonio. Who knows, we might just bump into each other there.
No, this is not about technology. I am talking about mobility with regards to disabilities. The National Mobility Awareness Month is a great month to celebrate to raise awareness and show the world that people with disabilities can do more than what many people think they are not capable of.
To live an active, mobile lifestyle is the true purpose of this awareness. And it is through the efforts of organizations like NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association) where stories of people dealing with their disability inspire and encourage everybody to overcome what they believe are theier limitations.
This coming month will showcase a local hero who is defined as anyone in your community who is dealing with or overcoming mobility challenges.
There will also be a national spokesperson who will take charge and share his own experiences on what he did in life to be where he is today.
If you know anybody who can benefit from this event, you should let them know about it and have them join the local hero contest and vote for their story. If they do win, they can win one of the custom Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles. And get this. The winners will be awarded with these prizes on a national television.
Let them know about it and spread the news about the coming National Mobility Awareness Month this May.
