The 2-month-old turtle, known as a red-eared slider, is a rare example of a conjoined-twin birth. It has two heads sticking out from opposite ends of its shell has one back feet and one tail. Kind of hard to swim around don’t you think? This was bought from a collector and would have likely died in the wild because it swims awkwardly and would be an easy target for predators. Poor little thing. But in a way, a blessing for him because at least the turtle will be well taken care of. For videos and such, you can search Google for it.
This had been circulating in the net for quite some time now. I’m pretty sure it ain’t some new undiscovered species as surely it would had made headlines in CNN’s top news story. Check the video here. Could be a sea turtle that lost its shell, or as some people speculate, a water rat. It doesn’t look adorable but I am intrigued myself as to what this really is. The dead body washed ashore in some beach in Long Island. What do you think?
