I checked out our local online news website to check out if there’s anything interesting that’s happened yesterday. I didn’t expect as much since it has always been mostly political. It wasn’t a headline, but the title caught my attention. US man seeks to ‘annul’ marriage. The first thing that came to my mind, hmm 3rd party? Irreconcilable differences? I don’t think those are even heavyweight reasons for annulment. If you are not even sure of your partner, then do not bother wasting time and waste your future just for the sake of marriage. When I read the news today, I was disappointed to learn that the personnel involved in the black suede scandal were only given mild punishments. I think that was a 3 month suspension? Wow… I thought that they be given like 5 years. 3 months is not enough. I felt the victim didn’t get his effort’s worth in sueing them. Nothing more I can say. This had been on the headlines in the CNN website for quite some time now. This raging cyclone pummelled Myanmar badly, lots of people had died. Could this be a global warming cause? I just knew today that Myanmar was previously called Burma when I checked out the CNN website. I thought this is somewhere in Cambodia. Apparently, their state news did warn them about the incoming cyclone but it was too late. People did not have time to prepare for what came to them. This was by far the worst cyclone disaster that I’ve come upon in the news. Other natural disaster that I get to read often are mostly storms and tornadoes.
