How much is the jeepney fare now? 8 pesos is the starting rate right? And wow, do passengers also get a freebie and possibly more. If the jeepney belches out bad smoke, that’s one freebie for you. Better, if the driver smokes while driving, passengers also get another freebie of accumulating 2nd hand smoke and getting lung cancer later. This is one of the reasons why I hate it here. There should be rules banning drivers from smoking. Hell, is this the reason why they’re so concerned about fuel price increase? I love the Philippines. But times have changed and I am now set than ever to migrate some place else. Sure, prices worldwide have soared too. But at least prices in some countries where I want to migrate to do not exceed way more than how much one earns. Food these days are scarce too. Is it? How come in countries like the U.S. or say, Singapore, the quantity of food serving is still plentiful compared to here. Whew. I normally don’t ride planes when I travel to my hometown and back. Even though they introduce zero fares, the total net cost is still way higher than when riding a boat. With the recent tragedy of Sulpicio Lines’ Princess of the Stars, all their ships were grounded pending investigation. I couldnt’ travel via Super Ferry as it has to drop by Butuan first and I don’t have all the luxury of time wasting it. Whoa! My 3rd kiddie movie in 1 day. Can’t blame myself, we have bad weather here and I had to stay home all day just watching (and blogging) since there’s nothing else for me to do. Though this is something new because this is a totally whole CGI movie. The story is about an elephant Horton, who after knowing that a speck contains a world within it, protects it from others who wanted to eliminate him because they think he’s hallucinating and think it’s bad for their children. I know grownups would like this movie (since I liked this movie haha, assuming). I think this will be all for today. So is this what most Filipinos have been waiting for? Maybe. Maybe not. It feels good to have tax deductions finally get lessen so we can take in more from our salary. And of course I expect my net receivables to increase. I do hope they’re that much what I’ll be expecting. I’m pretty dang sure foodshop owners are happy about this development because people still eat no matter what, and with the added savings from tax exemptions, people are going to eat more haha, kidding. Reminds me of the title of a 4-part episode of Transformers Generation 1 Animated Series. For those who had read all of my posts, I’m pretty sure that you’ve noticed my ramblings about the noise near my house that happens every night and every day. Sometimes I wish that it would rain hard because then, I can sleep soundly. The sound of the rain is natural for me so I don’t get affected unlike snores, shouts and music with too loud bass tones.
