Go Pacquiao! After his incredible victory over Ricky Hatton in just 2 rounds, he convinced me that he is indeed today’s best Pound for Pound boxing king. Nothing against Oscar dela Hoya but Manny Pacquiao’s fight against dela Hoya was not very convincing to me considering that Oscar has gotten old so Manny pretty much was a huge favorite to win that game. This one, was different. While I say boxing is a game also based on luck, Manny was the more conditioned player. He really prepared well for this fight. And Ricky was just at the wrong stance at the wrong time, which resulted in him getting slammed by Pacquiao’s punches.
Pacquiao is still in his prime and his decision to keep on going even though he has become uber rich, is a wise decision. Get richer, then retire. With Manny’s fame, he has brought fame to the Philippines. And the best part? He just, keeps on getting better.
