Okay … so I finally am 38 years old officially. It’s not a good feeling LOL. I mean, I am happy I am still alive in this world but heck, I hate getting older. As I mentioned in my previous posts, the best age for me was 25. I guess the worst age I could […]
Otto E. Bergés heads the The Bergés Law Group, a boutique multi-jurisdictional law firm based in South Florida. This group is focused on consumer rights in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration matters.
The strength of their practice encompasses defending clients’ rights against abusive and illegal practices by debt collectors, creditors and credit reporting agencies.
The staff has many years of experience representing people, the American consumer, who are facing a variety of legal issues.
They provide expert guidance and representation, to stand up for people’s rights and ensure that the best possible outcome in legal matters is achieved. After all, that is why people hire lawyers in the first place, right?
Otto Berges is a well rounded litigator having practiced in various areas of the law with a significant portion of his experience derived from automobile and trucking litigation, wrongful death, premises liability, medical malpractice defense, construction defect litigation, products liability, professional errors and omissions as well as risk transfer.
This group helps clients deal with harassment by creditors and debt collectors through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This prohibits debt collectors from using unfair, deceptive, or abusive practices in their attempts to collect money from people.
The FDCPA applies to anyone who regularly collects debts, including collection agencies and collection lawyers. When people hire an attorney to represent them, the debt collector is required to deal directly with the attorney, relieving clients of the hassle and headaches associated with taking the debt collector’s calls.
Think of them as middlemen in short.
One of the important factors in choosing the right lawyer to represent us is if they are well known. If a lawyer is not known to bring out winning cases, then people will shun them away. As I mentioned earlier, when a case is brought to the courts, the people involved want their respective cases to pan out and win.
With the number of accomplishments the Bergés Law Group has achieved over the years, it is no wonder why clients lool for them when it comes to consumer rights in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration matters.
Yes, at first it looked pretty normal, but as the movie went on, it became more and more absurd and impossible. Well, it is a movie after all.
A woman accidentally caught in a dark drug deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.
It was supposed to be a simple job. Yep, all Lucy needed to do was deliver a mysterious briefcase to a certain Chinese violent villain. But immediately Lucy is caught up in a nightmarish deal where she is captured and turned into a drug mule for a new and powerful synthetic drug.
She finds out after ingesting those drugs that it instead accelerated her brain power and made her more like a mutant.
What started out with powers like telekinesis which I believe can be possible in today’s world turned into mumbo jumbo after she assimilated herself with her surroundings in the end and became like a god.
This would have been nice too if there were many action scenes but sad to say there was not much. More of it was spent time on trying to understand what has been happening to Johansson’s character Lucy.
I am not saying this was a bad movie. Just that I expected some real life story that relates to the movie and finding out this movie is pure science fiction.
This was the part where I got disappointed. But heck, Lucy overall ain’t a bad movie. It even made good in the box office.
