This was a good movie. Not really full of laughs but entertaining still. For a change, the towns folk have become the aggressor as Count Dracula is afraid of them because of what happened to him and his wife.
But the movie revolves around this high end resort titled after the movie, Hotel Transylvania operated by the Count, offering monsters a refuge away from the human world. Things get chaotic when a boy accidentally discovers the resort and falls for the count’s teen-aged daughter. And vice versa.
All the monsters that people are familiar with like the mummy, Frankenstein, werewolf and a host of different other monsters are here, all with their own quirky and unique personality.
From start to finish I cannot seem to recall I laughed so much. It does not mean that I did not like this movie. The story is pretty good. The 3d animation is superb and the plot is very entertaining.
Comedy? I would not call it that. But entertaining? Yes! Very much! I cannot believe it took me this long to watch it. I mean, I got a copy of this a few months back but the video quality was horrible since there was no DVDRIP that time.
A few months later I was able to get hold of one and finally! Probably after a year, I was able to watch this movie.
