Thundercats (2011)

After watching this new remake of the classic Thundercats title, I’d say AWESOME! While their character drawings are not different (for sure) than before, I believe that this series looks to be better than the classic since all the episodes were just fights between good vs evil. In this one, there really is a story […]

My Coke Rewards Program

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of My Coke Rewards for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is nice to lend a helping hand, especially if it does not take too much effort then the more that I believe people should grab the chance to help others in need or institutions that can benefit from any help.

One such program is called the My Coke rewards for schools. They have these so called points where if you donate these to schools, they can get rewards like art supplies, sports equipment and support all the ways kids play.

Even the smallest of contribution can lead to bigger things for students in your community. So how do this work?

From July 13 through September 30, Sprite is giving away 25 playgrounds worth $25,000 to schools and anybody (this is where you come in) who purchases any package of Sprite/Sprite Zero and enters the code gets an entry into the sweepstakes to help their school win.

Every 3 points donated to the school through the Sprite Spark Parks for Schools sweepstakes gets the school more chances to win.

Visit the banner link below to find out more details how to register your school.

Help spread the word to your friends and relatives. The more code points that get entered, the more chances a school gets to win the ultimate prize!

Unknown (2011)

A movie with a simple plot yet one that I see as one of the best this year and kudos to Liam Neeson for doing a tremendous job with his character (even though I find his voice un-soothing at times).

Although I found one of his lines during the last scenes of the movie (“something like now you can do whatever you want … his voice saying that line sounded like cliche voice acting”, overall it was good.

The story tells of a man who awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one, (not even his wife), believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.

At first, I thought the woman was part of the syndicate that tries to kill him after he awoke from his coma. My reaction during the last scenes of the movie was the same when I watched The Sixth Sense wherein everything is explained in the last part.

I even wondered why Neeson left back for the airport at the beginning of the movie without as much letting her “wife” know. The last part of the movie explained everything clearly and my wife and I were left with aaahs upon understanding the movie as a whole.

Simple, yet very good. Another must see movie!
